Evening all, apologies for the delay, but those pesky internet gremlins have been at work again!!
Short and sweet this week, an emphatic start by the Shoulder rattling up 59 points against dogged resistance from the Dungeoneers and a nail biter down the hill saw the Hairy Hounds on the wrong end of the scoreline succumbing to a final question shoot out to decide the winner. We welcomed a new team to the league & it was A vs B down at the British Legion. It was a real baptism of fire for them, as in an almost identical scoring game at the Stopes Roses & St. Mary's, the B team shared our woes struggling with this weeks questions, registering a miserly 25 points a piece.....Onward & upwards!!!! It's early days and the grey matter was clearly a little rusty in a couple of camps!! |
