Bury & District Quiz League Week 14

Unfortunately, the St Mary's v RBL A match was cancelled due to illness, but the rest of us soldiered on & I'm going to start by blowing the Trumpet of the Stopes Roses. Just goes to show, when the questions are "up your Street" we are capable of matching the best & that's exactly what we did seeing off the staunch opposition of the Dungeon to a creditable 52-39.

Our B Team :):) suffered an almost similar fate up at the Shoulder, in what was one of the remaining 6 pointers, they must have surely had to win, to keep in sight of the runaway leaders, but alas it wasn't to be, going down 52 - 43 & although miracles do happen, its advantage Shoulder as enter the final 1/3rd of the season.

RBL B are still searching for that 1st elusive win, but the in-formish Hounds were not in a benevolent mood as they piled on the points & ran out comfortable winners by an impressive 28 points.
