KEN'S COMMENTS
The big news this week is the demise of the DON QUIXOTES at the hands of ROSE STARLING which was always on the cards following the DQ recent defeat by RADCLIFFE CC and the ROSE STARLING's recent run of superb performances.

Some interesting events could happen in the cup if, as expected now, the ROSE STARLING win the league and they meet DQ in the cup at some stage. Then the DQ will have to give them eight points start in the handicap which does not make much sense. How can the league runners up give the champions such a start ?

Maybe that will have to be looked into.

A big suprise at RADCLIFFE CC saw the home team fall to the great unpredictables the SWAN 'B', perhaps Jack is back.

The ROSE 'B' fielding a much weakened team lost to a slightly lack lustre WHITE HORSE. Elsewhere there were predicatable wins for ARTHUR INN, WELLINGTON and an improving HBSC.

The league has received a sponsorship promise, further details will be published next week but, all being well, 2 new trophies will be bought, one for the league and one for the cup.

The average score is for cup matches and after the final week of the season the handicap along with the draw will be sent to each team.
The average above is just for your amusement.
