Week 16 2 to go it seems from the scores of last nights quiz it was an easier quiz this week with no team scoring less than 40 points! in fact it would appear to be quite a remarkable night all round, At the Hairy Hounds the home side hit 57 point to win against their local rivals The Rose & Crown by 15 points some weeks the 42 points scored by The Rose & Crown would be a winning score,mean while at The Race Course Ground Radcliffe Cricketers were held to a draw by The Shoulder of Mutton 57 point a piece!back at Ramsbottom Cricket Club they hosted The Stopes Tavern in a very close contest with The Stopes boys edging out the cricketers by 4 points to record their third win of the season! heady days no doubt, at The Rose & Crown Starling the home team were up against St Mary's where St Mary's completed the double over the Rose by 4 points they also took the beer leg by 1 point I wonder divine intervention?however the Rose took the tie break when all the team gave the same answer & were 1 year out! Finally the most impressive result of the night it must be said was at The Royal Hotel who were hosting the run away league leaders The Coach & Horses however this did not deter the Royal who were not intimidated by The League leaders and inflicted their first defeat of the season by 4 points hats doffed to The Royal me thinks!
