Bury & District Quiz League Week 16

A good quiz this week with some teams scoring well, top scorers on the night were Rose Starling with 50 points, closely followed by the Cricketers with 49. It sounds like a cracker at the Shoulder(fixture reversed) where the Hairy Hounds built up a healthy lead of 11 points only for the Shoulder to eat up the lead and draw the game on the night. The match between Dungeon B and Rose Rammy postponed from 14th December has been scrubbed and declared a draw as the two teams could not come to an arrangement to play the game. The Knockout Cup draw was made last night bye Margaret and Sue from the Rose Rammy and went as follows:- Preliminary round Dungeon A v Stopes Tavern Round 1 Winner of A v Rose Rammy St Marys v Dungeon B Cricketers v Rose Starling Hare & Hounds v Shoulder Ian Openshaw of the Hairy Hounds has sent me a copy of the old League rules over the Summer I will amend them bring them up to date.
