Bury & District Quiz League Week 17

Some very strange results last night, none stranger than the ROSE 'A' beating the ROSE STARLING by 5 clear points.

The DON QUIXOTES suffering from late season jitters took too long to overcome the SUNDIAL only winning by 14.

WHITEFIELD BC were very poor against the WELLINGTON who had an unexpected win by 16 points, not so much the win being unexpected but the large margin certainly was.

SWAN 'B' as usual made it a forecasters nightmare losing to HBSC after last week beating RADCLIFFE CC with consummate ease.

Talking of RADCLIFFE CC, they were involved in a tight match with ROSE 'B' who are getting better each week, although there was room for improvement (a lot of room).

The only match that was predictable was the ARTHUR INN's close win against the WHITE HORSE.

Clairvoyant Ken confidently predicts there are more strange results to come.
