KEN'S COMMENTS
Report :
The Swan and Railway 'B' very nearly slipped up against the Rose and Crown 'B', resting their best player Jack for next weeks big one against the Radcliffe CC. It was only on the last question that they took a winning lead , a case of too close for comfort. I predict Jack will be back next week.

Radcliffe CC, probably the league's second best team had a close encounter with the Rose 'A' narrowly sneaking in by two points.

The Rose and Crown Starlings proud boast that they would walk the league this year was backed up with a very convincing 24 point win against the Wellington who were shot down without leaving the ground.

Whitefield BC were quite suprised that the Arthur Inn beat them quite easily after their last two meetings which ended in convincing wins for the bowlers, not quite I'm all right Jack.
Last but certainly not least were the Donkey Hoe Teas who galloped to victory by a massive 27 points although to be fair the Heap Bridge team said they were very unlucky, I would have thought it was the other way about and they were very lucky to only loose by 27 points.

The Swan 'A' failed to materialise against the White Horse which was a pity for all concerned especially Sue who was promised a game at last, she will probably make an appearance against the Rose 'B' next week, I certainly hope so as we could do with a bit of a start.

Thanks again

Ken
League secretary and captain of the Rose and Crown 'B'

The average score is for cup matches and after the final week of the season the handicap along with the draw will be sent to each team.
The average above is just for your amusement.
