SECRETARY'S COMMENTS
There's only 1 place to start tonight & that is at the top of the table & the Shoulder have Steam Rollered their way to another (3rd) successful defence of their title & credit where credit is due, they won their 4th successive league title by the biggest winning margin to date.

Take a bow Jason, Stephen, Andrew, Krys & Paul (apologies if I've missed someone out) consistently the high scorers for a 4th consecutive season & deserved winners of the league title.

You made light work of the opposition last night & hopefully RBL B will re-group & continue onto next season to fight another day. The 1st season is always a complete Bit*h to get your head round & I'm sure a second season would be far more accommodating than the 1st.

The Cricketers challenged you all the way & squeazed home slender 42-39 winners at St. Mary's & this wasn't the only close game of the night.

Chuffed to bits the Dungeons fortunes finally ran out in their favour, hard luck stories seem to have dogged them all season, but finally they got the "rub of the green" & won by a nose 40-39 against the ever improving RBL A.

Is it safe to come out from behind the Couch yet??? OMG, where do I start..............I can laugh now, but this game brought me to tears & I was questionmaster, it wasn't pretty, it was bloody painful in fact.

The number 7 springs to mind, after 7 questions, we hadn't scored a point, but nicked a bonus on Q8 & tripled our score in Rds 3 & 4 to trail 3-18 at the half way stage. Rd5 another blank, Rd6 a paltry 4 points to go into Rd 7 with 7 points & guess what, another pointless Rd. & low & behold we doubled our score in the last round, it was painful, very painful, enuf said!!!

Well with only 1 league game to go, we must look ahead to the KO Cup & after next weeks results, I will be posting the handicaps on here, so Captains take note. The draw will take place at the Dungeon following our game. The handicapping system will be based on your average (total points scored divided by 21) & based on this weeks number crunching it seems very fair.

Onwards & upwards, things can only get better, the only way is up, always look on the bright side of life, God help the Dungeon next week :):)
