SECRETARY'S COMMENTS
Apart from honour, there was very little a stake tonight & whilst the Cricketers continue to flex their muscles I suspect after the Shoulder of Mala lost their unbeaten run, they were just going through the motions, in preparation for next weeks KO Cup. Excellent scoring from both sides & the nights highest aggregate of 112, it was the Cricks who were 1st past the Post winning 62-50, well played all!!

The Legion A & St Mary's had a double header tonight & they shared the spoils. In tonights fixture RBL A went mad & marmelized the visitors, top score of the night with 63, whilst the visitors were blown away by a massive 20 points. 2nd place was never attainable for the Legionaires, but I'm sure they would have wanted the win all the same in the re-arranged game, but alas Alec & Co. were not playing Ball & secured victory by a slender 3 points 45-42.

After last weeks wobble, the Hairy Hounds were back on track against the Legion B, cruising to a comfortable win by 24 points, 49-25. The elusive win just wasn't achievable during this campaign, but with a healthy handicap, they could cause an upset in the KO Cup?? Top marks to Andy & the Girls for hangin on in there, you came close on numerous occassions, but alas, no Cigar. Just don't take it out on us next week (I've posted the draw, so check where you are all at) your endless optimism is your forte, ONWARDS & UPWARDS!!

Historically we always have close encounters with the Dungeon & tonight was no exception, all square at the half way stage, it was a disasterous individual Rd that would prove to be our undoing, losing by 5.

Please check next weeks fixtures & note your handicaps. As is usual over the past few seasons, I've based the handicapping on your seasons average score, ie points scored/21. The difference between the respective handicaps is added on at the end of round 1. ie if the Shoulder were playing the Cricketers, the Cricks would add 3 to their 1st round score.

& thanks to Tony from the Dungeon for rescuing my Cap, we will be repatriated soon I hope, the Sunshine Roof is feeling it.

A shout out to Mike Pinder, he's been having a rough trot lately with an Ulcerated Foot, we all hope you are fighting fit & back in circulation soon Mike.
