Bury & District Quiz League Week 23

The presentation evening was be held at St Mary\'s Social Club, I am sorry I have been poorly this week and am only just feeling up to writing this report. I would like to thank all those who attended on the night, especially those who \"mucked in\" where needed, collecting money for the raffle and the quiz. Also thanks to Paul Gardner, a quiz league member for many years for standing in for our sponsor Ian who was unavailable on the night. As you can see from Alec\'s pictures we had a good turn out from Prize winners and non - winners. We also got through a 60 question Quiz set by our league question setters, considering the obscurity of some questions the Rose & Crown Starling did well to win with a score of 50. Afterwards we all tucked in to a Pie and Peas supper.
Finally I would like to wish all our quiz teams players a good Summer and I will inform everybody when we be holding the AGM in September.
