Bury & District Quiz League Week 24

Congratulations to the British Legion on winning the KO Cup. There 2018 form continued to the final head to head & they quickly made a mockery of the handicapping by extending their lead round after round in the 1st half, to lead 33-18 at the break.

The shell shocked Cricketers rallied in the 2nd half, but despite their best efforts they just couldn't erode the 15 point lead enough, to force the Legion into making any rash decisions in the Stick or Twist round.

The writing was on the wall as the clock ran down & the 8 point advantage would become the winning margin at 53-45.

Thanks to Ian & the Hairy Hounds for their usual excellent hospitality, the packed room was salivating with the superb Fayre, we are spoilt!!! Special thanks to Jill & Andy for officiating & running a tight ship.

Hopefully a similar turnout next Monday for the season Finale Presentation Night. It will be the usual format, a dead easy quiz & Pies & Peas, please come along & enjoy a relaxing night-out.
