Bury & District Quiz League Week 3

'Back to where they belong'. The words of a seventies song ring true for super team the DON QUIXOTES. They say it all as they reached number one spot with an easy win over their nearest rivals ROSE & CROWN STARLING. Seems like the ROSE will have to settle for second or third spot again this season .

Team of the year so far though are the ARTHUR INN who have the second highest aggregate score in the league. They just might have a chance of getting within ten points of the leaders when they play them.

The WELLINGTON finally got their act together with a good win over the SUNDIAL, while the ROSE & CROWN RAMS 'A' broke their duck with a closely fought win against HEAP BRIDGE SC.

SWAN 'B' lost their first match of the season to RADCLIFFE CC which was no big surprise, while the WHITE HORSE won a close encounter with the ROSE 'B' Michael Pinder being the difference between the teams
