The team of the week has to be Swan and Railway A who broke their duck by beating last season's runners up, Pack Horse, 38-26. The top of the table clash between unbeaten Cricket Club and Rose and Crown Starling resulted in the only away win of the week, with champions Rose keeping their unbeaten record in a score of 41 - 49 - Phil starring for the Rose with Phil Dodd's men struggling in rounds 2 & 3. Rose and Crown Ramsbottom had a good win over Stopes Tavern 43-37, winning it on the Emmanuelle question thanks to Peter and Martin. Rose and Crown Bury, who are in excellent form this season, beat the other unbeaten side Swan B 43-32. Heap bridge beat Sundial 44-28 to record their second win.
Week 4 matches see Stopes Tavern play host to Swan and Railway A. In what would have been match of the week last season, Mike Pinder's misfiring Pack Horse will do well to beat Cricket Club at home. Match of the week has to be Sundial hosting Rose and Crown Bury. If both play to form a very close match is predicted. Rose and Crown Starling host Heap Bridge, and Swan and Railway B host Rose and Crown Ramsbottom in what could be another close tie. Sundial subs to Jayne please.
