Bury & District Quiz League Week 4

First of all, may I welcome cmj consultancy as our new league sponsors, it is very kind of Ian Byrne of St. Marys Social Club. Hopefully they will reap some reward. I can only hope that League members use his services wherever possible. Now to this weeks quiz, I thought it was a very even quiz this week which is shown by the scores. All teams scored well into the forties, highest score this week goes to The Stopes Tavern, who I believe broke their record with a score of 52. I think they may be rewarded with a march of DUCKS through the Peabody Hotel or maybe Paul Gardner will will have to enter the QUEEN MALLARD contest. There was a cracking match at The Dungeon , where the hosts A team played the Rose & Crown (Rammy) in a 50 points all draw, there must be a bitten finger nail or two on both teams
