Bury & District Quiz League Week 5

What an interesting week! Swan and Railway B record the only away win of the week, having elected to go second, in a great result over the Cricket Club to take them into second place. What a great tactical move. Rose Starling went down on the last question to Peter Taylor's in-form Rose Ramsbottom side to lose their unbeaten record. Pack Horse and Stopes continue to struggle, losing to Rose Bury and Heap Bridge respectively, but a third straight win for Swan A over Sun Dial sees them move up the table to join 4 other teams on 6 points.
Could winning teams please let me have the results on Monday night to allow us to get them in to the papers and to update the website quickly.
Following complaints and a succession of low scores, we contacted Century about the quality of the questions. They have been using a different setter for 3 weeks and apologised. Hopefully things will return to normal now, but we'll monitor average scores and get back to them if things don't improve.
Some of you will be starting free weeks now, but will receive sets of questions, if you wish to arrange a friendly fixture with other teams to promote the league.
Could Sun Dial please arrange to send their league subs to me as soon as possible please.
