Bury & District Quiz League Week 5

A big disparity in the scores again this week, wether it was due to going first or last or perhaps the questions suited some more than others, I do not know, but hopefully it will even out over the season. Highest scorers this week were the Hairy Hounds, (although as I do my report I have not had the result of the Rose Starling V Dungeon A match yet). On that subject can all team captains ensure I get the results by text on the night as I have to submit my report by Tuesday to stand a chance of getting it published in the Bury Times on the Thursday. Due to the temporary closure of the Shoulder of Mutton, our match had to be played at the Indian Restaurant across the road, the tasty curry took the edge off the battering they gave us in the quiz, a big thankyou to our hosts at the Shoulder for a royal feed and the owners of the restaurant for their hospitality, We are now only 5 weeks away from our Xmas Quiz and its time to think about our Pie and Peas supper. I will need numbers for each team by Monday 14th December at the latest, earlier if possible, if you are able it would help finances if every team brought a raffle prize on the night.
