Bury & District Quiz League Week 7

Cricket Club are top scorers of the week with 57 points as the questions appear to have settled back down to normal levels of difficulty. A close game, but Cricket Club taking the last round 11-2 to secure the win. A bad night for both Swan and Railway sides, going down to Heap Bridge and Pack Horse, who finally end that losing streak. Rose Starling keep the top spot after a winning trip to Sun Dial.
Week 8 matches see Heap Bridge host Rose Ramsbottom in the match of the week, a match that either team, if on form could take. Swan B entertain Sun Dial with the home side hoping to bounce straight back but will Eunice organise the Sun Dial men and inspire a win. Swan A make the short trip to Radcliffe Cricket Club. If Mavis has dished out the tonic, Phil Dodd's title contenders may be in for a tough one. The Rose Starling host Stopes Tavern. Shift patterns dictate that the Rose will have the bare minimum to shuffle from, so the Taverners will have every chance to cause an upset. However Wally returns from his week's rest. Free week for the Rose Bury and Pack Horse.
