A much tougher quiz this week with no team reaching the 50 mark ( I have heard easier questions on University Challenge), nearest was the Shoulder on 47. No close matches either, which sometimes indicates the importance of going first or not. Lowest scorers on the night were the Stopes Taverners with 24 points, mainly caused by a total blank on Round 2 Individuals and only picking up 2 bonus points all evening. Never mind, it is almost time for the elves to wake up and start their annual climb up the league.
Do not forget it is our Xmas Quiz and festive get together on 22nd December at St Marys Social Club (with Pie and Peas Supper} This is our main fundraiser of the season and a good turnout will bolster league funds. |
